As a writer, I’m increasingly interested in how fiber art and text overlap and intermingle. I see my work departing from the concrete and moving more toward the abstract and conceptual. I aim to research noise patterns, specifically the graphic manifestations of Perlin and fractal noise and am considering how to translate these gradients into embroidery.”

www.daniellesusi.com

Fiber artist, poet, improviser and producer of live performances around the country, Danielle Susi also teaches and performs weekly at The Comedy Loft in Ogden while working as Art Gallery and Event Specialist at Salt Lake Community College.
