\"\"<\/a>Ryan Harrington is a mixed-media artist who has lived in Utah for nearly 22 years and worked part-time as an artist for more than 10. His work is continually evolving, spanning a number of genres and culminating in a unique blend of what he terms \u201ccontemporary urban folk art.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrington\u2019s work has been displayed in a number of galleries and museums throughout the West and can be found in public and private collections. He did a memorable Kayo Gallery window installation titled \u201cPlugged In\u201d featuring children watching stacked-up video screens in 2010 and, in 2016, created both \u201cThe Writing on the Wall,\u201d a window installation for Urban Arts Gallery, and several 3-D wall murals for Traeger Grills\u2019 Headquarters. Influences ranging from pop, folk to urban find their way into each creation, he says.<\/p>\n

This artist is continually exploring and experimenting \u201cto satisfy an ever-growing need to create.\u201d With work ranging from commentary to basic design, he says there is always something new to discover.<\/p>\n

In 2018, he will be developing his recently established LLC \u2013 ASTRAY ART. \u201cI plan to expand on my line of street wear including T-shirts and hats. I will also be adding a few more festival dates to my calendar to promote my artwork,\u201d says Harrington, who also has a few projects with design firms in the works to create custom artwork for Utah residences. He is anticipating a busy year.<\/p>\n
