Art Access<\/a> is an affiliate of VSA International, founded by Jean Kennedy Smith in 1974 to create a society where people with disabilities learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts. VSA is part of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.<\/p>\n

Twelve signature programs for children and adults with and without disabilities and those in other underserved or disenfranchised populations incorporate our long-standing practice of inclusion, wherein people with and without disabilities work together toward the common goal of expressing their unique life stories through the arts.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, A<\/strong>rt Access Galleries<\/strong> feature artwork by emerging and established artists with and without disabilities through changing exhibitions, each with an opening that corresponds to Gallery Stroll. The gallery is open year round, M – F, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Saturday hours during the holidays.<\/p>\n
