<\/a>May 12-14<\/strong> Color Animal<\/strong>, one of the musical projects of local musician Andrew Shaw<\/strong> (their latest album was released April 1st<\/sup> and first full-length video just came out), who was profiled in last month\u2019s edition of 15 Bytes<\/a>,\u00a0and Magic Mint<\/strong>, another of Shaw\u2019s groups, will back Salt Lake\u2019s Municipal Ballet Company<\/strong> this weekend. Sarah<\/strong> Longoria<\/strong>, the company\u2019s director, says they choreographed dance pieces to Shaw\u2019s music. \u201cI\u2019m so excited to see what the choreographers and dancers have in store,\u201d says Shaw. \u201cThe Municipal Ballet Company does amazing work . . .\u201d The shows open May 12-14 at the Fallout, 600 W. 625 South, Salt Lake City. Portable Sanctuaries: Beth Krensky\u2019s<\/strong> performance pieces are part of a larger series of portable sanctuaries that are intended to respond to the natural environment while providing a refuge \u2013 a space within a space.
