Artists 35 years old and younger, time to finish up those masterpieces and submit them to the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The call for entries is now up at Submittable:<a href=\"https:\/\/artistsofutah.submittable.com\/submit\/57495\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> https:\/\/artistsofutah.submittable.com\/submit\/57495<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entry deadline is June 1, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at the artists from our last 35&#215;35 exhibition in 2013<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/398101010?app_id=122963\" width=\"496\" height=\"278\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen title=\"35x35movie\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"category-description\">\n<p><b>What Is It? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>35X35 Exhibition is Artists of Utah\u2019s showcase of work by Utah\u2019s young generation of artists. Occurring every three and a half years, this exhibit features work by 35 artists 35 years old or younger, providing the artists with a unique exhibition opportunity as well as extended media coverage to help further their career.<\/p>\n<p><b>How It Works: <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Artists of Utah Board members choose work by thirty-five artists selected from the open call for entries. Independent jurors award First, Second and Third Place Prizes and a People&#8217;s Choice award is selected by voting ballots collected from gallery patrons over the duration of the exhibition. The Board of Directors will choose one artist to receive a Board of Directors Award and be invited to sit on the board of Artists of Utah.<\/p>\n<p>Collected entry fees will be used for cash prizes, artist profile video productions, promotional materials, website publications and installation expenses associated with the 35&#215;35 exhibition.<\/p>\n<p><b>Beyond Cash Awards, Any Other Perks? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <i>Exposure:<\/i> April 2013, opening night of the 35&#215;35 Exhibition was attended by over 650 Salt Lake City gallery visitors. The 35&#215;35 exhibition gives exposure to artists who were just starting out and continues Artists of Utah&#8217;s commitment to fostering Utah&#8217;s young generation of artists.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <i>Networking:<\/i> This is your chance to get to know members of Utah&#8217;s art community, including the staff at Artists of Utah and 15 Bytes, your peers from around the state, gallerists (artists in past exhibits have gained representation at 35 x 35) and other art professionals.
