Each month, 15 Bytes offers works-in-progress and \/ or recently published work by some of the state\u2019s most celebrated and promising writers of fiction, poetry, literary non-fiction and memoir.<\/p>\n<p>Today, 15 Bytes features Orem-based <strong>Alex Caldiero<\/strong>, performance poet and &#8220;sonosopher,&#8221; a practitioner of\u00a0a unique hybrid of sound, poetry, and philosophy. One of his students\u00a0described him as \u201ca weird cat, but\u00a0someone who loves what he teaches.\u201d\u00a0He has received grants from the National\u00a0Endowment for the Arts and Utah Performing\u00a0Arts Tour and awards from the\u00a0Association for Mormon Letters and Salt\u00a0Lake City mayor\u2019s office.
