But one of their number stands out: Eric Rich, who hauls an upright piano with him on his way to the Farmer&#8217;s Market or other outdoor venue. In addition to being one of the city&#8217;s coolest buskers, Rich is also the leader of his own ensemble. He started out as a vocalist for a couple of punk bands, traveled, began teaching himself the piano, created his own compositions, had his brother build a frame to haul his upright around, and eventually formed an ensemble to perform his original compositions.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday night that ensemble, including strings, guitar and woodwinds, will be playing at the SLC Photo Collective&#8217;s DARKROOM SESSIONS. The sessions are the chance for the collective to bring together local talent and an excited community and see what happens. The Eric Rich Ensemble will play with Lake Mary (Chase Prymek) beginning at 7.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is invited but the event is a private party and requires RSVP on facebook OR\u00a0by email at slcdarkroomsessions@outloo<a href=\"http:\/\/k.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">k.com.<\/a> The SLC Photo Collective is at 561 West 200 South in\u00a0 Salt Lake City.
