Rounding Out Your Paideia<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In ancient Greece, the \u201cpaideia\u201d was the aristocratic system of education. It wasn\u2019t about learning a trade or an art; it was about training a person for liberty and nobility. Paideia was <\/span>the process of educating humans into their true form.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You are probably familiar with the seven liberal arts: <\/span>grammar, logic, rhetoric, music, arithmetic, geometry, and astronomy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The term “liberal education” emphasizes the fact that education was not available for the many people who were held in slavery, but only for those who were free. The idea is that the more education you gain, the more free you become.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
