And we want you to know that despite our sometimes playful emails, we consider very seriously how our organization&#8217;s funds are spent. With that in mind, we wanted to explain how our book swaps work.<\/p>\n<p>First of all, the book swaps cost our organizatio $0. We found someone going to Spring City who was willing to transport the books there and then drop them off again in American Fork. Local organizations in the areas are running the book swap. Consequently it costs our organization $0. We don&#8217;t expect the book swaps will raise tremendous funds for us.\u00a0They are\u00a0more an attempt to allow outlying areas the opportunity to participate in some of the activities we do here in Salt Lake.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We realize that many of you are probably sick of our month long barrage of emails so we&#8217;re posting this note on our blog.
