Or maybe you&#8217;ve been, and since you know the work itself changes with the levels of the lake you want to see what it looks like now.<\/p>\n<p>Well, here&#8217;s a sneak peek &#8212; not the whole thing, because we don&#8217;t want you to simply live vicariously through photos. The storms of 2011 were such that despite the tepid winter of 2012 and the summer&#8217;s lingering drought, the lake levels are high enough that Spiral Jetty is partially submerged; but not completely &#8212; you can still walk out to the center of the spiral, though in a few places you&#8217;ll have to make some precarious leaps from rock to rock to get there. So, either stretch before you go, or bring shoes you won&#8217;t mind getting a little wet.<\/p>\n<p><em>In 2010 we published an article by Hikmet Sidney Loe, which shows the water levels from 1971 to 2010.
