Juror David Revere McFadden from the Museum of Art &amp; Design in New York City jurored this year&#8217;s annual statewide competition.<\/p>\n<p>Sparano + Mooney&#8217;s design was part of an international competition held last year with 5 finalists selected to propose a new vision for the Kimball Art Center (BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group of Copenhagen and New York created the design selected by the Kimball for their new building, a proposal which received mixed reviews in our pages when it was announced (<a href=\"https:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15Bytes\/index.php\/big-news-for-the-kimball-art-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">see here<\/a>)).<\/p>\n<p>You can take a closer look at the winning proposal, along with a wide selections of designs, prototypes, and produced samples by members of Utah\u2019s various design fields at the Rio Gallery now through July 27.
