The exhibit features 57 works (out of over 100 entries) by 54 Utah artists. At the June 1 reception prizes were awarded by Provo  Mayor John Curtis with the $500 first place award going to Mary Houge&#8217;s  \u201cSteampunk\u2019d\u201d; second place ($250) to Michael Soelberg for  \u201cGoodbye, Go Live\u201d; and the $100 third place prize to Carrie Wilson for \u201cBlue Series #2.\u201d Honorable mentions were awarded to  Maria Hurlbert, Robert Krejci, Kirk Parkinson, Jordan Weisenburger and  Russell Ricks.<\/p>\n<p>[portfolio_slideshow]<\/p>\n<p>The Covey Center for the Arts gallery hours are Monday &#8211; Thursday 10 a.m. \u2013 6 p.m. and  Friday 10 a.m. \u2013 2 p.m. All exhibits are free to the public. The Summer Art Showcase continues through July 31.
