Playing on the homophones \u201cpairs,\u201d \u201cpears\u201d and \u201cpares,\u201d the exhibition explores how spoken language can inspire different approaches to clay. Works may depict objects in pairs, use pears as a motif or trompe l\u2019oeil subject, or emphasize reductive techniques such as incising and carving. Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration. The exhibition will be juried by multimedia artist Colour Maisch and ceramicist Kevin Frazier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bountiful Davis Art Center, Underground Gallery<\/strong> 90 N. Main St, Bountiful, UT<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>: Open to Clay Arts Utah members.
