Artists Who Teach brings together art educators, many working in Utah\u2019s colleges and universities, to highlight the studio practices they maintain alongside their work in the classroom. The exhibition considers teaching and making as interconnected pursuits: questions and perspectives encountered through teaching can feed an educator\u2019s studio practice, while continued experimentation and risk-taking as an artist inform what happens in the classroom.<\/p>\n

Presented alongside BDAC\u2019s Statewide Emerging Artists\u2019 Annual, Artists Who Teach also considers the broader influence artist-educators have on Utah\u2019s cultural landscape, both through their own creative work and through generations of artists they help develop.<\/p>\n
