Inspired by the visual language of pop art, arcade games, and digital culture, the exhibition uses vibrant color, rhythmic line, and carefully shaped forms to create optical illusions that suggest movement, sound, and spatial disruption.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson&#8217;s works employ minimalist compositions and painterly techniques to transform simple geometric forms into dynamic visual experiences. Through these playful interventions, blip explores how shape, color, and pattern can interrupt perception and spark new connections.<\/p>\n<p>Roland Thompson is an artist and educator who teaches at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University. He earned a BFA from Brigham Young University and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, with additional postgraduate study in Paris.
