Summit County Public Art Advisory Board (SCPAAB) is seeking artists to design and create seven artistic benches for the exterior of the Silver Summit Services Building. The project includes two 8-foot benches and five 5-foot benches, intended as durable, permanent public artworks.<\/p>\n

Proposed designs should reflect themes of unity, community, justice, service, and law and order<\/em>, while engaging viewers beyond the immediate installation. All work must be fabricated using materials suitable for long-term outdoor exposure, capable of withstanding deep snowfall, high winds, and fluctuating temperatures, and requiring minimal maintenance.<\/p>\n

Submissions must be appropriate for all ages and a broad public audience. Proposals containing profanity, nudity, political messaging, or divisive imagery will not be considered. The goal is to create welcoming, accessible artwork that resonates across the community.<\/p>\n
