David Blanchard is an artist from Tooele, Utah, who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Utah Valley University with a BFA in Painting and Drawing. Their work has focused on surrealist oil paintings, but also includes printmaking, and various drawing media. Beyond their capstone project and co-curating Revealing Unknowns<\/em> at UVU, Blanchard participated in exhibitions with the Alfred Lambourne Arts Program, JKR Gallery, Salt Lake Community College’s Eccles Gallery, and Urban Arts Gallery. Their work has been published in the university journals Untold<\/em>, Warp & Weave<\/em>, Touchstones<\/em>, and the Journal of Student Leadership<\/em>, and they’ve written articles for Utah’s 15 Bytes art magazine.<\/p>\n
