Prior to joining the National Trust, he served as the Executive Director of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, a 51-acre campus in Albuquerque.<\/p>\n<p>He will also speak at a pre-conference workshop, \u201cRe-imagining Historic Sites\u201d on May 3 from 9 a.m. &#8211; noon at Memorial House in Memory Grove. Tickets are $50 per person.<\/p>\n<p>Conference events on May 4 include a 7:45 a.m. breakfast at the Masonic Temple, 650 E. South Temple, followed by education sessions at 9 a.m. on a variety of topics including rehabbing historic homes, endangered local historic districts, good lobbying techniques and a section on revitalizing South Salt Lake. Sessions are $15 with pre-registration; $20 at the door. A special combo ticket for both tours is $25 in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Online registration for events receives discounted rates and ends May 1.
