This three-day workshop with John Hughes focuses on strengthening core painting fundamentals, with an emphasis on light, design, creativity, drawing, color, values, edges, brushwork, and learning to see and organize masses. Through studio and plein air work, participants will explore approaches that lead to stronger compositions and more confident visual decision-making.
Open to artists looking to deepen their technical skills and compositional understanding in a supportive, hands-on environment.
