In the December 2013 edition of 15 Bytes we introduced you to Instantly Framed, the  new app that helps social media users and photographers preserve and display their online photos designed by our former image editor Shalee Cooper.

This Friday night, for the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll, Alpine Art is hosting an official launch party and exhibition for the app. For You’ve Been Instantly Framed, Cooper has selected 12 artists from around the world and 12 local artists who own their own businesses. Each artist was asked to submit one image taken from their phone to have instantly framed and be featured in the exhibit. For the next 12 months, Instantly Framed will be featuring interviews with each of their artists on their blog.

You can see the work, and what it looks like in an Instantly Framed package at Alpine Art (430 East South Temple, SLC) March 21 – April 11, with an opening reception Friday, March 21, 6-9 pm.
