ARTIST STATEMENT
“My artwork is abstract working mostly with fabrication techniques using wood, steel and other materials in addition to some bronze casting. For some years now, my sculptural work has been about a playful linear element exploring its surroundings, typically interacting with architectonic structures while creating a sense of implied movement.
In a more general sense, my sculpture exploration continues to be derived from a keen interest in structure and the mechanical. This interest extends beyond the structural or mechanical object to include the surrounding and/or supporting forms, the manner in which they interlock or relate, and the consequential smooth transition or transfer of energy, or motion, implied or otherwise, from one form to the adjoining.”
