This weekend is the last public opening for the 337 project (http://www.337project.org ) in Salt Lake.
Last night a film crew stopped in at the project. They were on assignment to get some footage of the City County building to be used as a "City Shot" during the broadcast of the Jazz playoff game on Saturday. The "City Shot" is the image of the city the networks go to for our few seconds before cutting to commercial. The crew was driving down 400 East when they saw the building and decided to shoot it instead of the City County bldg. So, unless editors get in the way, on Satrurday ABC and ESPN will show the nation a new image of Salt Lake City — the 337 project.
The project is open to the public free of charge Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon to 8 pm.
The founder of Artists of Utah and editor of its online magazine, 15 Bytes, Shawn Rossiter has undergraduate degrees in English, French and Italian Literature and studied Comparative Literature in graduate school before pursuing a career in art.
