
Marissa Albrecht is a mixed-media artist based in Orem, Utah, specializing in collage and mobile photography. Inspired by her travels and the discovery of everyday materials, her work emphasizes uncovering the beauty in overlooked fragments of daily life. Originally from Southern California, Marissa earned a BFA in painting and drawing from BYU–Idaho and an MFA in Studio Art from Brigham Young University.
Her art has been featured in exhibitions across the U.S., including solo shows at the Bountiful Davis Art Center and Salt Lake Community College, as well as group shows at the Springville Museum of Art, Writ & Vision, and Union Street Gallery, among others.
An experienced educator, Marissa has taught drawing, painting, and design since 2020 as an adjunct instructor at BYU and Utah Valley University. She is passionate about helping others explore their creativity using accessible materials and methods.
