Born February 18, 1923, in Sodra Sandsjo, Sweden, to Knut and Nina Ackerman.
In 1940 he enlisted in the Royal Swedish Navy. Met Anna-Greta Eklund in Stockholm, they were married May 20, 1945 and emigrated to America in 1953 and settled in North Ogden.
A successful real estate salesman for 35 years, he was passionate about modern art and racing pigeons.
Worked in pastel and paint in abstract mode.
