Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1949, Jenni Christensen grew up in Hawaii and Idaho. She received her MFA in printmaking from Brigham Young University. She worked at the Experimental Etching Studio in Boston and then at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts in Portland before moving to Pleasant Grove, Utah. From 1979 – 1987 she taught printmaking at BYU. Since then, she has focused on her art, specializing in floral-botanical etching.
