Utah Arts & Museum’s annual Mountain West Arts Conference happens tomorrow. But since the conference is sold-out, there’s no point in writing a blog entry that will get you excited about it (like, for instance, mentioning that in one of the afternoon sessions you could catch two of Utah’s 15 Most Influential Artists – Anne Cullimore Decker and Bonnie Phillips – talking with Actor Director Craig Jessop and Novelist Afton Wilkins about “A Life in the Arts.”)
But since some of you obviously won’t be going, we did think it worth noting the individuals and organizations who will be honored tomorrow with the Governor’s Leadership in the Arts Awards
- Spy Hop Productions – Educational Leadership in the Arts Award
- City of St. George – Community Leadership in the Arts Award
- Shirley Ririe – Individual Leadership in the Arts Award
- Timpanogos Storytelling Institute – Organizational Leadership in the Arts Award
