Tonight in Park City the Park City Gallery Association hosts Fashion Stroll, an evening devoted to merging fine art and fashion. Organized by Farasha Boutique, participating galleries will host up-and-coming designers from 6 to 9 pm. The event, featuring drinks and light bites, is free. There’s an after-party Silver Restaurant and Nightclub at 9 pm (not so free).
Not every gallery is devoting themselves to Fashion, however. Off the beaten Main Street path, Julie Nester Gallery hosts two San Francisco artists, Robin Denevan and Thea Schrack, who use water as a central topic. But if you’re going to drive down to Iron Horse Drive hoping to also find District Gallery, know that they recently announced they are moving to 751 Main Street.
And in Salt Lake’s Sugarhouse neighborhood local exhibitors are hosting a special Sugarhouse Art Walk from 6 to 9. Be honest, you rarely make it out to the south end of the city on the third Friday of the month. So here’s your chance to check out the galleries, studios and shops showing great Utah art.
