Emilae Belo, born in 1991 in Alexandria, Virginia, considers the mountain west of Utah her home. With a keen interest in both math and art, she initially pursued history in college, disenchanted with the modernist art education at universities like Brigham Young. Her artistic path reignited at the Masters Academy of Art in 2011, where she embraced the academic tradition, combining her artistic flair with disciplined study. Post-education, Emilae’s journey took her to Poland and Brazil, where life changes including marriage and motherhood continued to inspire her artistic expression. Currently, she resides with her family in Eagle Mountain, Utah, where she continues to create and document her experiences through art.
