We’re happy to announce that Artists of Utah was recently awarded a $5000 grant from the Jarvis and Constance Doctorow Family Foundation to support the publication of 15 Bytes for a 12-month period. The Doctorow Family Foundation, headquartered in New York City, supports charitable organizations in New York and Utah. The foundation was impressed by the number of individuals and organizations who supported Artists of Utah during our recent Spring Fundraiser. So to all of you who were able to contribute, thanks once again. And to all of you who wanted to but lacked the funds, thanks for all the good karma.
The founder of Artists of Utah and editor of its online magazine, 15 Bytes, Shawn Rossiter has undergraduate degrees in English, French and Italian Literature and studied Comparative Literature in graduate school before pursuing a career in art.
