Coleman Andersen, b. 1996, is a contemporary photographer and artist. He graduated from Salt Lake Community College in 2020 with a Photo ASA degree and currently works int he commercial and fine art photography industry.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Coleman Andersen is a Salt Lake City born artist. Using photography as a medium, transforming everyday life into something more than the average passerby observes. Coleman’s work ranges from commercial to fine art, with an ultimate goal of meshing the two genres to create original concepts. “Plums” is a collection of moments captured on a single roll of film. A reel of time passing, representing the way life changes from warmth to cruelty. Love, sadness, and joy existing in divine synchronicity. The plum on the limbs of life, crushed in the fate of destiny.
