Cris Baczek’s Development
A review of three bodies of work by Salt Lake artist Cris Baczek, including motion-activated cyanotypes, large-scale proof sheets and found images from the archives of the UMFA.
Hillary Carman, from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, holds a Bachelors in Art History and Curatorial Studies and is currently pursing an MA in Art History, with a focus on twentieth-century photography, at BYU. She loves surrealist photography, fashion photography, Rococo architecture, 19th century European painting, and Baroque sculpture.
