Andrea Jensen, an alumna of the University of Iowa with a BFA and the University of Arizona with an MFA, is a high school art teacher in Salt Lake City. Her art delves into the complex interplay between humans and the landscape, probing issues of usage, perception, and environmental impact. Jensen’s work reflects a belief that understanding our role in the natural world is a precursor to societal change and that art can be a catalyst for this awareness and transformation.
