Sharon Alderman is a handweaver, author and instructor who specializes in fabrics to wear, upholstery and other interior fabrics and color studies woven of cotton sewing thread.
Her work has been shown in competitions and invitational exhibitions all over North America, including the National Museum of Women’s Art in Washington, D.C. (1993). She has published three books; Handwoven, Tailormade, A Handweaver’s Notebook, and Mastering Weave Structures.
