Abe Kimball, living in central Utah’s rural mountains, blends art and anthropology in his work. Mentored by his father, artist Wayne Kimball, Abe earned degrees in art and anthropology from Brigham Young University, enriched by ethnographic research in India. He teaches in public schools and at Snow College and has trained in printing at the Tamarind Institute, among other venues. His work, exhibited across the western U.S., often features vintage themes and technologies, reflecting his appreciation for Surrealist and Dadaist influences.
