Kimball Art Center presents the 2025 Wasatch Back Student Art Show, featuring artwork from K-12 students in Summit and Wasatch County Schools. This year’s theme, Earthen Forms, invites young artists to explore materiality, storytelling, and self-expression through clay and other media.
Participating students have engaged with questions such as:
- How can you use clay to tell a story?
- In what ways can art reflect your identity?
- Where do you see nature in art?
- How can art help express who you are?
- Does clay hold a memory?
Presented alongside Traces, an exhibition of contemporary ceramicists including Brie Ruais, Ashwini Bhat, and Raven Halfmoon, this student exhibition highlights the next generation of creative voices while celebrating the power of clay as a medium of personal and collective storytelling.
