Presented by the Mestizo Institute of Culture and Art, Vanishing Waters, Rising Voices is a multidisciplinary exhibition that brings together visual art, performance, and community dialogue to address the urgent ecological and social issues surrounding the Great Salt Lake.
Featuring works by:
Kyle Ahlstrom-Alexander, Steph Alpizar, Geof Crowl, Francisco Fierro, Susanna Herrmann, Jiyoun Lee-Lodge, Jerald Lim, Vincent Mattina, Jonna Ramey, Emmaline Russell, Jill Saxton Smith, Kelly Tapia-Chuning, and Thayne Whiting.
The exhibition amplifies both environmental concerns and the lived experiences of those most affected by the lake’s decline. Additional special events and receptions will be announced throughout the run of the show.
