In May of 2008 we put the spotlight on Spiro Arts Residencies &
Workshops. The program was in its infancy and the space to house
artists had barely been fleshed out, literally. The walls had just
been put in and if they could talk they would have had very little to
say. Much has changed. Since the program’s inception
24 artists have participated and each has brought their unique talents to
Park City. In 2010 Spiro Arts hosted, among others, a stop motion
animator, a poet, and several installation artists.
With 2011 right around the corner Spiro Arts is gearing up for its
fourth year of residencies, artists who are interested in
participating should have their application completed by January 14.
