Opening Reception: Saturday, March 22, 2025, 6-8 PM
Shangri-La by Grace Wilson presents a radiant sanctuary of love, gratitude, and human connection. Through dreamlike imagery and handwritten reflections, Wilson’s works transform everyday moments into profound visual experiences. Each piece serves as a love letter—to friends, family, and strangers—highlighting the deep impact of kindness and connection.
Figures drift across vibrant expanses of color, their wings etched with narratives of generosity and hope. Patterns of hearts, halos, and glowing auras reinforce Wilson’s central message: we are all shaped by the compassion surrounding us. By blending personal storytelling with bold, expressive forms, Shangri-La invites viewers to reflect on how empathy and human connection influence our lives.
