Tara Carpenter Estrada and Sara Lynne Lindsay examine dead and decaying flora as a window into life histories. Both artists are fascinated by what is left behind when people die. They seek to explore the inherent beauty in decomposition; the comfort that can be found in natural cycles, as well as the rituals practiced by the people left behind.
