Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company’s season finale, RE-ACT, marks a moment of transformation, featuring Daniel Charon’s final work as Artistic Director and the company’s first Choreographic Canvas commission. The program includes From Code to Universe, a dance-theater collaboration between Charon and director Alexandra Harbold, as well as a new world premiere by Annalee Traylor, the inaugural Choreographic Canvas Selected Artist.

A dance-theater piece interwoven with live performance and playwriting, From Code to Universe is a haunting meditation on memory, identity, and technology’s grip on human existence. This final work by Daniel Charon features performances by the company dancers alongside Charon and guest actors Nicki Nixon, Ben Young, and Mack Barr. - World Premiere – Choreographed by Annalee Traylor
