Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) presents DEUX, a tribute to the legacy of modern dance, featuring works by two master choreographers who have profoundly shaped both RDT and the broader dance landscape. As the final performance of RDT’s 59th season, DEUX is a celebration of nearly six decades of groundbreaking artistry.

Featured Works:

• The Winged (1978) – José Limón
  A breathtaking interpretation of bird flight, The Winged is a marvel of expansive and delicate movement, described by The Washington Post as “a marvelous work… a distillation of what it means to float, to flutter, to soar.”

• Chairs (excerpts) (1992) – Zvi Gotheiner
  A dynamic and poignant exploration of the human experience, Chairs uses dancers and simple props to depict themes of connection, tension, and transformation through rich, fluid movement.
