St. George, UT
March 22 – May 1
Opening Reception March 22 at 6-8 PM!
In Off the Grid, artist Rachel Henriksen explores the delicate balance between structure and disruption, examining how human relationships, communities, and cultures shape our interconnected world. Henriksen’s work employs form, pattern, and repetition to establish systems that feel stable and familiar, yet these patterns are intentionally fractured—warped, bent, and distorted to reveal the unpredictable nature of human connection.
Through bold color shifts, dynamic compositions, and unexpected disruptions, Henriksen’s paintings reflect the fluid, ever-changing landscape of social bonds. Off the Grid invites viewers to embrace the tension between order and transformation, reminding us that even the most structured systems are constantly evolving.
