ARTIST STATEMENT
“The landscape pushes a sort of romance. Either in a Robinson Crusoe manner or as the picture tells us – the feel of a box. Perception of this is like ice skating on a frozen mirage lake.” My creative practice involves sourcing different types of historical material. Material being that of archives and the earth itself. The methods of creative exploration vary from composed sounds intertwined with moving image to the sourcing of local earthen materials. I’m interested in how time manifests itself through external objects and the pure subject.
