on behalf of wings honors the millions of birds that rely on Great Salt Lake as an irreplaceable refuge. This collaborative exhibit features intimate wildlife photography by Linda Dalton Walker and poetry by nan seymour, joined by the work of fellow artists and lake advocates who have come together to bear witness to the lake’s beauty and peril.

Through photography, participatory puppetry, poetry, and educational engagement, the exhibit invites viewers to practice reverence and reciprocity for our winged neighbors. It includes contributions by Anna Pocaro, Josh Craner, John Meier, Sarah May, and Therese Berry, each of whom helps illuminate the sacred relationship between birds, water, and the human heart. The exhibition serves as a prayer, a protest, and a call to protect the life that depends on the lake’s fragile ecosystem.
