Miners9 Art Exhibit Call

LOCATION: Miners Hospital Community Center, 1354 Park Ave.  Park City Utah 84060

COST:  $100 for 3 days Fri, Sat & Sun. paid via Venmo @bodellart

There is NO commission collected on your sales.  *Your space is NOT saved until the $100 is received. /exhibit fee is non-refundable.

EXHIBIT HOURS: Friday 2:00pm-7:00pm  (10:00am-2:00pm Set up)

Saturday 12:00pm-7:00pm

Sunday  12:00pm-4:00pm (4:00pm take down and clean up)


  1. All artists must be present during the PUBLISHED EXHIBIT HOURS. Any exceptions must be approved by the exhibit manager. The MHCC will be open for set up at 10:00am Friday morning. ALL set up must be completed by 2:00pm. Take down begins at 4:00pm Sunday and the building locked at 5:30pm.
  2. All art must be CREATED by the artist. Any reproduction art must be approved by the exhibit manager prior to exhibit set up.
  3. Artists are encouraged to provide and post price cards or price sheets gallery style.
  4. Artists are responsible for collecting ALL art sales and Utah SALES TAX. A tax packet with your Temporary Utah State Sales Tax number, calc. tables, submittal process will be provided prior to the exhibit.  It is RECOMMENDED that artists be prepared to accept multiple payment options: Venmo, Charge Cards, PayPal, cash, checks.
  5. Artists are encouraged to display contact information and an Artist Statement/Bio.
  6. Artists must submit (3) digital files (.jpg) and medium description for promotions. Artists are expected to send the provided digital marketing materials to their personal email lists.
  7. The exhibit is produced the last weekend of March-September.  A MANDATORY walk through of the MHCC is scheduled for Thursday one week prior to the show.

June 28-30 Walk through Thursday, June 20th @ 10:30am

July 26-28 Walk through Thursday, July 18th @ 10:30am

Aug. 30-Sept. 1 Walk through Thursday, August 22nd  @ 10:30am

Sept. 27-29 Walk through Thursday, September 19th @ 10:30am


  1. Each artist will be assigned a display area appropriate for their specific inventory type, size and quantity. Consideration will be given to persons with disabilities.  Any concerns should be discussed with the exhibit manager.
  2. Due to our rental agreement, artists are NOT allowed to put nails, tape, pins, etc. onto the walls or furniture. Metal grids for hanging/attaching art will be provided in each area. Several areas can accommodate art on shelves. Some small tables are available and will be offered during the Thursday Walk Through Meeting. Artists can supplement display needs with pedestals or easels.
  3. Private food and beverages can be stored in the basement kitchen/fridge.
  4. The building is locked and secured with an alarm overnight.  The storage rooms on the first and second floors can be locked on request.
  5. Press releases will be provided to local media which includes promotional material for each participating artist who has provided the required materials two weeks prior to the exhibit. Digital announcements/invitation will be provided to participating artists, local media, businesses, concierge, Arts Organizations, and Community Calendars. Print materials and posters are distributed starting two weeks prior to the MINERS 9 exhibit throughout the Wasatch Back Communities.
  6. The Friday of the Exhibit weekend signage directing patrons and guests to the MHCC will be placed on Deer Valley Drive, Park Avenue, the Poison Creek Trail and a variety of major streets entering Park City from hwy. 224 and hwy 248. A banner is placed on the MHCC attracting patrons and guests to the building centrally located at the City Park.
