Matthew Choberka, an MFA graduate from the Hope School of Fine Arts at Indiana University in 2005, is an artist whose paintings and mixed-media creations tackle the unpredictability and intricacies of the modern age. His methodical use of a series to develop imagery blends the nuances of drawing and painting, reflecting the dynamic nature of contemporary life. Based in Ogden Utah, where he teaches at Weber State University, he is representation by A Gallery in Salt Lake City and Beaux-Arts des Ameriques in Montreal, Matthew’s reach in the art world is expansive.
