Mark B. Goodson, a versatile artist known for his portraiture, figurative, still life, and landscape paintings, began his artistic journey at the age of 47. His work, celebrated locally, regionally, and internationally, is distinguished by a naturalistic style that highlights light, color, form, and atmosphere. Goodson, a proponent of visible brushstrokes and the artist’s evident touch, holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (2011) and a Bachelor of Fine Art from Weber State University (2007). Based in Huntsville, Utah, he paints extensively and offers painting classes to adult students in his studio.
