Know Your Folk returns with a vibrant new showcase of recently acquired works from the Alice Merrill Horne Folk Art Collection. This annual exhibition highlights the State of Utah’s commitment to preserving and celebrating folk art traditions from diverse cultural communities across the state.
The 2025 edition features artwork by Luis Rosado, Hanifa Javadi, Geronimo Bazan, Joon Bae, Chaunda Chuon, Maria Elena Lowe, Nikolay Motro, David Rhone, and Manuel Padro. Spanning a wide range of cultural expressions, the exhibition invites visitors to consider how folk art continues to thrive in contemporary Utah—rooted in tradition yet evolving through personal and collective storytelling.
