After earning a BFA from Brigham Young University, Karina Cutler moved to Cache Valley, Utah, converting the family library into a studio. Inspired by the contrast between nature and human-made environments, her representational paintings incorporate symbolism and humor. She works in various media but focus primarily on oil painting.
