
Jethro Gillespie is an artist and educator based in Utah County, where he lives with his three children. He holds a doctorate in Art Education from Concordia University in Montreal, where his research focused on rethinking and remaking high school art foundations curricula. Jethro teaches full-time at Maple Mountain High School, engaging daily with teenagers through visual arts education. He also mentors undergraduate art education students at local universities. Outside of teaching, Jethro enjoys creating art, exploring record stores, and pruning fruit trees, embodying a hands-on approach to both his craft and his community.
Artist listings in our Utah Artists Directories are open to all visual artists who reside part-time or full-time in the state of Utah.
